PM Modi to address BJP meeting on Aug 7

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the meeting of BJP workers in Hyderabad on August 7.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, BJP MLA NVSS Prabhakar said that the Prime Minister would be addressing the party workers and unveil party’s plan for Telangana State.

He also informed that BJP National President Amit Shah would address a massive rally on September 17 on the occasion of Hyderabad Liberation Day.

He said several union ministers would visit Hyderabad during the month of August.

They will enlighten the people of Telangana on various Central schemes being implemented in the State, he said.

Prabhakar said that a meeting of State BJP office bearers and District unit presidents was held on Saturday to discuss the arrangements for the Prime Minister’s visit.

He hoped that Modi’s visit would boost the BJP expansion drive in Telangana State.

The BJP MLA also accused the State Government of diverting Central funds. He said that the Centre was contributing about 50% of funds for pensions, 55% funds for rice scheme and nearly 60% of scholarships.

However, the TRS Government was not utilising the funds properly or diverting them. (INN)
