Hyderabad: The Telangana Government has accorded permission to fill 593 vacancies in various categories through Telangana State Public Service Commission.
This is in addition to the 434 vacancies in Group-II Services already permitted.
As many as 380 vacancies will be filled in Revenue Department alone. They include 46 Commercial Tax Officer; 259 Deputy Tahsildars; 64 Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspectors and 11 Executive Officer Grade-I in Endowments.
The other identified vacancies which will be filled through TSPSC include 62 posts of Assistant Registrar in Agriculture & Cooperation; 90 Section Officers in General Administration; 28 posts of Assistant Section Officer in Finance and 10 in Law Department; 20 posts of Assistant Development Officer (Handlooms & Textiles) in Industries & Commerce Department and 3 posts of Assistant Labour Officer in LET&F department.
The TSPSC Secretary has been asked to take necessary steps for filling up of the above vacancies through direct recruitment by obtaining the details, such as local cadres of the vacancies as per the Presidential Order (zone / district etc., as applicable), roster points, qualifications, etc., from the concerned authorities and for issue of schedule for recruitment and notification by the Commission accordingly.
