Hyderabad: As many as 3,557 fresh cases of Coronavirus were registered in Telangana State till 5.30 pm on Wednesday while three people lost their lives due to the virus in the last 24 hours.
With this increase, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in the State has increased to 7,18,196 while the death toll increased to 4,065.
A total of 1,11,178 samples were tested till 5:30 pm on Wednesday which took the total number of samples tested so far to 3,09,28,740.
According to the Media Bulletin issued by the Director of Public Health & Family Welfare, as many as 1,474 cases were recorded in Greater Hyderabad alone while 321 cases in Medchal Malkajgiri, 275 in Rangareddy, 123 in Sangareddy and 104 cases in Khammam district were also registered.On Wednesday, a total of 1,773 people recovered from the disease. Presently, there are 24,253 Active Cases in Telangana State. (INN)
