377 more pilgrims leave for Haj

Hyderabad: The third batch of 377 Haj pilgrims from Telangana State left this morning after some delay due to technical reasons.

Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Saleem, Executive Officer B. Shafiullah, Members Mohammed Jafer Khan, Syed Nizamuddin, Syed Irfan ul Haq, Syed Ghulam Ahmed Hussain, noted Islamic scholar Moulana Mohammed Anwar Ahmed Qadri and AEO Irfan Shareef flagged off the first bus of the pilgrims.

Addressing the pilgrims before their departure, Saleem advised them to spend their time in prayers only and do not focus on phone calls etc. He asked them not to go for shopping in Saudi Arabia as everything of better quality is available in our country. He said that the pilgrims are going so far only for the prayers, therefore they should not waste their time on making phone calls to India. He said that the temperature in Makkah today is 40 degrees C as per the Metrology Department.

Earlier, former Minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir visited the Haj House, met the pilgrims and advised them to pray for the peace and development of the country and the state.The fourth batch of Haj pilgrims is scheduled to depart from Hyderabad International Airport at 8:35 am on 25th June 2022. (INN)
