Fourth batch of 377 Haj pilgrims leave for Jeddah

Hyderabad: The Fourth Batch consisting 377 Haj pilgrims from Telangana left Hyderabad for Makkah enroute Jeddah to perform the Haj and pay a visit to the tomb of Holy Prophet in Madeena.

Ministers T. Harish Rao and Talasani Srinivas Yadav and MLA M. Gopinath visited the Haj Camp at Nampally, met the pilgrims and requested them to pray for development and prosperity of the State and the people. They appreciated the arrangements made for the safe and smooth departure of the pilgrims under the supervision of Mohammed Saleem, Chairman Telangana State Haj Committee and his team. They flagged off the haj pilgrims for Shamshabad Airport.

Addressing the pilgrims on this occasion, Saleem advised them to spend their time on prayers for which they are undertaking such a long journey. He also advised them not to waste their time on shopping, taking selfies and gossiping.  He said everything is available in India. He congratulated the pilgrims on their selection for this sacred journey. He advised them to drink lots of ZamZam water.The fourth batch consists of 205 pilgrims from Hyderabad, 67 from Mahboobnagar, 96 from Sanga Reddy, seven from Vikarabad and two from Ranga Reddy district. (INN)
