Hyderabad: More than 24 persons, mostly children, were injured in Diwali-related celebrations across twin cities. As per the information of Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital authorities 24 persons were brought here for treatment for the injuries caused by crackers during the Diwali celebrations.
Authorities have said that five of them were severely injured. Three persons were referred to other hospitals in the city, they informed. Parents of the injured children were extremely tense following the accidents. The number of injured persons may increase, said hospital authorities. (INN)
