Chief Secretary asks officials to expedite road widening works near RGIA

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar has directed the officials to expedite road widening works between Aramghar Chowrasta – Shamshabad Airport entrance.

As per instructions of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, a review meeting was held at BRKR Bhavan on Monday with the officials of R&B, Transco, Revenue, Endowments, and Waqf Board.  The six lines of road expansion work, two service roads and road expansion work took up 10 Km with a cost of Rs. 283 crores.  Apart from these, Agricultural University, Sathamrai, underpasses at the entrances of the Airport, Flyover at Gagan Pahad and elevated corridors construction works in Shamshabad Town are in progress.

The Chief Secretary directed the officials to ensure, road expansion works were done without any inconvenience to the people and also to work all departments with smooth coordination. He suggested the officials to utilize the services of the police department in relation to traffic management. Surprise visits are also to be conducted timely for reviewing the works.Secretary TR&B Srinivasa Raju, Endowment Secretary Anil Kumar, Rangareddy & Hyderabad District Collector Amay Kumar, Waqf Board CEO       Shahnawaz Qasim, Transco Director Srinivas Rao, GoI Regional Officer Kushwaha, Transco Director Jagath Reddy, NH EE Dharma Reddy, Rajendranagar RDO Chandrakala, Shamshabad ACP Bhaskar and other officials attended the meeting. (INN)
