Education minister launches national library week

Hyderabad: Education Minister P. Sabitha Indira Reddy said that each one should give a book before starting anything good. She launched the national library week in the State Central Library at Afzalgunj, Hyderabad on Monday. She said that libraries in the state were developed significantly during the TRS government.

The Minister said that so many great personalities have studied and gained knowledge from the state central library. The minister said that the government had recently announced 80,000 posts in different departments and libraries would be beneficial for the youth preparing for competitive exams.

She said that four libraries with all the necessary facilities will be established in four corners of the city very soon. She said that the government was committed to the development of the existing libraries. She said that book reading habits must be encouraged among youth. She said that the government was starting libraries in each school and college. (INN)
