Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the health department officials to initiate the Kanti Velugu scheme from January 18, 2023.
The Chief Minister reviewed the functioning of the health department on Thursday. Health Minister Harish Rao, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and higher officials of the health department have participated in the review meeting.A discussion was held on newly established medical colleges, health profiles, Basti Dawakhana and other issues. It is to be remembered that the Kanti Velugu program was launched by the CM in Malkapur village of Medak district on August 15, 2018. The state government had spent Rs 108 crores for the scheme. (INN)
