IT sector on growth track in the state: KTR

Hyderabad: Information Technology Minister K T Rama Rao said that the state was rapidly progressing in the IT sector and said that 20 per cent of the IT employees in the country were in Hyderabad. He said that it was a matter of pride that the state was progressing in the IT sector.

KTR interacted with IT bigwigs in Thrill City on Monday. He said that the Innovation Eco-System was developed very well in the IT sector and said that WEE Hub was established for women entrepreneurs. He said that development happens in a state where there is a stable government. He said that Hyderabad was precious for investments and informed that lakhs of jobs were created in Hyderabad and remained ahead of Bengaluru in job creation. He said that there were 40,000 jobs created during the past two years in the IT sector. He said that the first two Space Tech startups belong to Hyderabad. He said that the Internet would be provided through T-Fiber Net.Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (Hysea) President Manisha on this occasion said that the IT sector was proud of IT Minister K T Rama Rao. (INN)
