Hyderabad: Telangana ideologue Prof. Jayashankar’s 82nd birth anniversary was celebrated on a grand scale across the state on Saturday.
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao paid floral tributes to the late Professor’s bust-size statue at TRS Headquarters, Telangana Bhavan. KCR remembered the contribution of Prof Jayashankar in the Telangana statehood movement and said that the state would never forget the sacrifices of the great leader.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahamood Ali, Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Ministers, MPs, MLCs and MLAs paid rich tributes to the late Professor.
IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao garlanded a statue of Prof. Jayashankar at the Prof. Jayashankar Agriculture University at Rajendra Nagar and paid rich tributes. (INN)
