Harish Rao takes a dig at Congress

Hyderabad: Taking strong exceptions at the Congress leaders’ letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him not to launch the Mission Bhagiratha, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao slammed the Congress accusing the party of indulging in cheap politics.

“Congress leaders are indulging in cheap politics which is very unfortunate,” the minister thundered. He advised the Congress leaders to rise above the party level politics and work for the state’s interests.

He warned the Congress that people would teach a befitting lesson to the Congress and that it would even lose the Opposition party status if it indulged in such ‘politics’, the minister remarked. (INN)
