Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation(TSRTC) management has decided to grant another Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees in commemoration of the Telangana State Decade celebrations.
The DA will be disbursed along with the employees’ June salary. RTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar and Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan jointly made the announcement, stating that the pending 4.9 per cent DA, which was due in July 2022, is being sanctioned.
Recognizing the significant role played by TSRTC employees during the Telangana movement, where they actively participated in the Sakala Janula strike for nearly 29 days to advocate for a separate state, the decision to grant the seventh DA has been made as a token of appreciation for their dedication. The TSRTC management has previously sanctioned seven DAs, even under challenging circumstances.TSRTC Chairman and MLA Bajireddy Govardhan, along with RTC MD VC Sajjanar, expressed their gratitude towards the employees and announced that the remaining DA will be disclosed to them in the near future.
