Disabled persons, lawmakers thank CM for increasing the pension

Hyderabad: The disabled community in the state is filled with happiness following the recent announcement by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to increase the disability pension by an additional Rs 1000. During a public meeting held in the Mancherial district, the Chief Minister declared that from the next month onwards, an extra amount of Rs. 3,116 will be added to the existing pension, providing further support to disabled individuals.

To express their joy and appreciation for the decision, disabled people across the state performed ‘Palabhishekam’ rituals, symbolically anointing portraits of Chief Minister KCR with milk. Led by Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagendhar, disabled individuals showcased their gratitude, acknowledging the Chief Minister’s compassionate gesture.Similar expressions of gratitude took place at the office of Kuthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda, where KCR’s portrait was anointed with milk. MLC Kavitha, MLA Vidyasagar Rao, along with residents of Jaggasagar village in Metpalli mandal, offered milk to the portrait, expressing their sincere appreciation for the increased pension. Furthermore, at the Nallagonda MLA Camp Office in Vemulawada Constituency’s Gollapally Kolanur village, CM KCR, Minister KTR, and Vemulawada MLA Ramesh Babu were commemorated with milk offerings to their respective portraits. (INN)
