Siddipet has become a job hub: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Finance Minister Harish Rao said that it was a matter of pleasure for the youth of Siddipet to secure jobs in Siddipet. He said that chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and IT Minister K T Ramarao are taking the initiative to provide job opportunities in the district.

The Minister launched the Mega Job Mela program organized by 15 leading IT companies titled ‘Local jobs for Local people’ at Siddipet Police Convention Center, the district headquarters, on Tuesday morning.

On this occasion, he said that he is happy that the IT tower will come to Siddipet, the district centre, as new districts are formed. The minister said that if you get a job opportunity in this IT hub first, your career will have no gap as there is an opportunity to ask about what you have done in the past and why there is a gap in the IT sector.

Harish Rao said that it is good that leading IT companies are participating in the IT tower construction with a 718 seating capacity in Siddipet as well. He said that the construction of an IT tower in Siddipet has been taken up at a cost of Rs.63 crores and it will be started on June 15. Among the IT companies, OSI Digital, Jolan Tech, Vision Info Tech, Amidai Edutech, Fixity Technologies, Innosol, Thoran Technologies, BCDC Cloud Centers and Rank IT Services will provide job opportunities to the local youth in the district. The minister thanked the representatives of the respective companies.

He expressed hope that there will be 718 employees on a shift basis and 1436 unemployed people will get job opportunities for two shifts. The minister stated that 718 people will get jobs in stage-1 and another 1000 in stage-2.

He said that the job seekers who get jobs in this mega job fair are being trained through Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) at Hyderabad. Training classes will be conducted for 45 days for 150 unemployed candidates in each batch. The Minister revealed that after getting TASK training, one can get job opportunities anywhere in IT and other fields.The minister mentioned that today 718 job seekers will be selected by leading companies. ZDP Chairman Rojasharma, District Collector Prashant Jeevan Patil, Municipal Chairman Manjula-Rajanersu, Suda Chairman Ravinder Reddy, State Nursing Council Member Pala Sairam, Market Committee Chairman Maccha Vijitha-Venu Gopal Reddy and other public representatives participated in the programme. (INN)
