Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated Asia’s largest KCR Nagar 2 BHK Dignity Housing Colony in Kollur of Sangareddy district on Thursday under the second phase.
He distributed house titles to six beneficiaries and visited a photo exhibition related to the construction of double-bedroom houses. Ministers K.T. Rama Rao, Harish Rao, Sabitha Indra Reddy, Malla Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Mayor Vijayalakshmi participated in the program.The Telangana government has constructed 15,660 houses in one place to accommodate about 60,000 people. It has built this ideal township in Kollur with all the facilities for the poor. The government has built dream buildings for the poor with corporate flair without compromising on quality anywhere. In this huge project undertaken at a cost of Rs. 1,489.29 crores, double-bedroom houses with all facilities have been built without being taken away from corporate apartments. (INN)
