TS Govt sincere towards resolving issues of employees: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Finance Minister Harish Rao on Friday assured to solve the problems of government employees and retired employees.

He said that a special committee would be formed with the representatives of government employees and retired employees as members to implement the Employee Health Scheme of government employees and pensioners in a more robust manner.

Rao said that the Telangana government has earned a reputation as an employee-friendly government unlike anywhere else in the country. He said that the state has set an example for other states by providing the highest wages and pensions to employees.

He said that although the central government is stubborn in the release of funds, CM KCR has revealed that he is sincere about the development and welfare of the state. The minister assured that he will take the problems of employees and pensioners to the notice of CM KCR and strive to solve them.The meeting was attended by Telangana State Government Retired Employees Association President Damodar Reddy, General Secretary Chandrasekhar, Treasurer Gangareddy, Pensions JAC Chairman Lakshmaiah, Poorna Chander Rao, Narsinga Rao, L Srinivas Reddy and other members. (INN)
