Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha met with representatives of Global Logic, a subsidiary company of the Hitachi Group, on Monday to discuss the possibility of setting up a company in the soon-to-be-started Nizamabad IT hub.

The meeting was also attended by MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan and Amer Shakeel. Kavitha explained to the representatives of the company about the facilities that will be available in the IT hub, such as transport, water and electricity, as well as peace and security. Bajireddy Govardhan assured the representatives that he would work hard to get RTC buses to the IT hub.

The representatives of Global Logic said that they were impressed with the facilities that will be available in the IT hub and that they would consider setting up a company in Nizamabad. They also said that they would give priority to women in the jobs that they provide in Nizamabad.

The company representatives will visit the Nizamabad IT hub on Tuesday to assess the facilities that are available. Global Logic is headquartered in California, USA, and has two campuses in Hyderabad. About 3,000 people are currently working in their company in Gachibowli and Jubilee Hills.

Kavitha said that she was happy that the representatives of Global Logic had responded positively to her appeal to set up a company in the IT hub. She said that this is a proof of KCR’s vision of providing employment opportunities to the youth locally.

Kavitha stated that the government is ready to provide all the facilities to the companies to be set up in the IT hub. She said that more companies will be established in Nizamabad in future. Kavitha urged the local youth to make use of these opportunities. (INN)
