Telangana Engineering 2nd phase seat allotment completed

Hyderabad: The allotment of engineering second phase vacant seats in Telangana has been completed, with 85.47% of seats filled. In the second phase, 7,417 new students have been allotted seats and 25,148 students have changed their seats. After the allotment of the second phase seats, 12,013 seats remain.

100% of seats are filled in 32 engineering colleges in four universities and 28 private colleges. The convener has suggested that the students who got the seats should do self-reporting by August 2. The final phase counseling will start on August 4.

While 94.40% of seats were filled in computer science and IT-related courses, 78.03% of seats were filled in electronics and electrical engineering courses, 43.48% seats were filled in civil and mechanical engineering courses, and 60.02% seats were filled in other engineering courses.

Students who have got engineering seats should download the allotment order from the website. The fee mentioned in the allotment order should be paid online through a credit card, debit card, or net banking. After that the seat will be confirmed. However, it is suggested that the students paying the tuition fee should pay from their parent’s account. This will make it easier to refund the fee in case the seat is later vacated. (INN)
