Telangana is making great strides in Emergency Healthcare: KTR

Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister K Tarakarama Rao has praised the progress made in the emergency healthcare services in Telangana.

On the occasion of the inauguration of 204 ambulances (108), 228 Ammaodi vehicles and 34 Harse vehicles by Chief Minister KCR, KTR Tweeted that the state has made great strides in this sector.

KTR congratulated Health Minister Harish Rao and his team on this occasion. He also thanked Chief Minister KCR for his support.

On Tuesday morning, Chief Minister KCR flagged off 466 emergency vehicles at People’s Plaza in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Harish Rao said that he was happy to start 466 new vehicles in the Department of Health. He said that when the state was formed, there was one ambulance for every one lakh population, but now only one 108 vehicle is available for 75,000 people. He also revealed that Chief Minister KCR released funds for the vehicles when he asked for them. (INN)
