Merging RTC with government historic: Indrakaran Reddy

Hyderabad: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy hailed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to merge the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) with the government, saying that it will benefit 43,000 RTC workers.

The minister said that the merger was a historic decision and that it showed the CM’s “humanity”. He added that the RTC employees would now be recognized as government employees and would be entitled to all the benefits that come with that status.The RTC staff celebrated the merger by anointing CM KCR’s portrait at the bus depot in Nirmal. They also burst firecrackers and distributed sweets. Similar celebrations were held at the depots in Adilabad, Manchiryala, Asifabad, and Bhainsa. (INN)
