Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha inaugurated the IT Job Mela organized by TASK at the Nizamabad District Centre on Tuesday. The event was attended by a large number of young people, as well as representatives from several foreign companies.
Speaking at the event, MLC Kavitha said that the job mela was a great opportunity for young people to find employment in the IT sector. She said that 41 internationally renowned companies were participating in the event and that reservations were being made for the disabled. She also noted that three disabled people had been given jobs in the last job mela.
MLA Bajireddy Govardhan said that he was happy to see such job fairs being organized for the youth. He said that this was a great opportunity for rural youth, who often have difficulty finding employment. MLA Ganesh Gupta said that such job fairs would be organized every month and that the cooperation of MLC Kavitha had been instrumental in bringing many foreign companies to Nizamabad.
The job mela offered a variety of job opportunities in the IT sector, including software development, testing, and data analytics. The event also featured a career counselling workshop, where young people could get advice on how to find a job and prepare for interviews.
The job mela was a success, with over 1,000 young people registering for interviews. Several companies offered on-the-spot job offers, and many others said that they would be in touch with the candidates in the coming days.The event was a positive step towards creating employment opportunities for the youth of Nizamabad.
