CID nabs two persons in TS EAMCET II paper leak case

Telangana State’s Crime Investigation Department (CID) nabbed two persons today for their alleged involvement in EAMCET II (Medical) question paper leak case.

The CID said the two brokers, namely Mayank and Garimella Veerender Rao, helped a total of 10 students through leaked papers.

“Efforts are going on to apprehend the other brokers and accused persons of the question paper leakage,” said the Inspector General of Police, CID, Telangana State.

Mayank secured eight students through his channel. Those students were later given two Medical sets of leaked papers for practice in a Mumbai camp.

Another broker Veerender secured two students and sent them to a Bangalore camp through another broker for practice. Those students received at least two sets of papers, said the CID.

Mayank hails from Kolkata, West Bengal, while Veerender is a resident of Bachupally in Miyapur belonging to Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh.
