CM KCR performs special yagna for all-round development of Telugu states

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao performed a special yagna at a farmhouse in Erravalli on Wednesday, with the desire that the Telugu states should develop in all aspects, flourish with greenery and all the people should flourish with happiness and joy.

The yagna, named Subrah Manyeshwara Yagana with Rajshyamala, will be held for three days under the guidance of scholars from Telugu states, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

After Gau puja, KCR and his wife entered the Yagashala, where Swarupanandendra Swamy, the presiding officer of Visakha Sri Sharada Peetham, inaugurated the yagna with Ganapati Puja, Punyahavachanam and Panchagavya Prasana.

The KCR couple then prostrated to Swarupanandendra Swamy and sat down in the yagam.

Swarupanandendra Swamy performed Yaga Sankalpa with the KCR couple and then performed special pooja for Goddess Rajashyamala, the presiding deity of Visakha Sri Saradapitha.

On this occasion, Goddess Rajashyamala was specially decorated in the form of Vanadurga. Astra Rajarchana and Karkariya were established by praying to the three deities that the ambitious sacrifice would continue uninterrupted.

The KCR couple personally presented initiation clothes to the Pandits and Rutviks participating in the yagam.

After the establishment of Akhanda, fire was lit and Agni was installed in Yagashala.Rajya Sabha members Joginapally Santosh, MP Nama Nageshwar Rao, MLC Madhusudana Chari, former minister Venugopala Chari, government adviser Anurag Sharma and others participated in the yagam. (INN)
