Hyderabad: Minister K Tarakarama Rao said that success comes to those who move forward with a single goal, as exemplified by the life of CM KCR.
KTR recounted how Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, the tenth of 11 children, realized during his college days that he needed to be there for his father, a sub-contractor for Shapoorji Pallonji in Mumbai. He also shared how KCR lost his first election, but persisted and never looked back after winning his next one.
Speaking at a successful meet of tribal aspiring entrepreneurs at Hyderabad Park Hyatt, KTR said that he is happy to see tribal people becoming entrepreneurs. He emphasized that it is not important which caste one is born into, but rather that one takes advantage of opportunities. He also said that the state government is providing support in all ways and that they want to be mentors for future generations.
KTR announced that a product park will be set up, especially for ST entrepreneurs and that the government stands by those who dream to rise very high. He also shared examples of successful Dalit entrepreneurs, such as three beneficiaries who have set up a rice mill in Yellareddy Mandal and 150 people who have received vehicles under Dalit Bandhu in waterworks. He also said that those who work with government organizations are being encouraged.
KTR also criticized the parties and governments in the past for not paying attention to tribals but said that tribals have developed in Telangana State under the rule of CM KCR.Minister Satyavati Rathore said that tribals are growing as entrepreneurs in Telangana. She praised CM KCR for providing all kinds of support to aspiring entrepreneurs and criticized previous governments for neglecting tribals. He said that tribals have developed significantly under the BRS government’s rule. (INN)
