KCR successfully undergoes hip replacement surgery and starts practicing walking

Hyderabad: BRS President and former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who underwent a successful left hip replacement surgery on Friday evening at Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda after sustaining a fall at his farmhouse in Erravelli has started recovering.

The surgery was performed by a team of experienced surgeons and was declared successful by the hospital in a statement released later that night.

KCR is currently recovering in stable condition and has already begun taking steps towards recovery. A video circulating on social media shows KCR practicing walking with the assistance of doctors and a walker on the morning of Saturday, just a day after the surgery.

Doctors have advised KCR to rest for approximately eight weeks for complete recovery. (INN)
