CM Revanth Reddy expresses concern over the sale of Praja Palana forms

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has expressed his dismay regarding the sale of Praja Palana applications.

In response, officials have been instructed to ensure an ample supply of applications to meet the demand from applicants. It has been emphasized that all previous beneficiaries will continue to receive the benefits of schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and pensions, and the public has been advised not to be misled.

He highlighted that those who did not previously benefit or those seeking new benefits should submit their applications. He urged the public not to be confused on this matter.

The Chief Minister conducted a thorough review of the Praja Palana application process and field-level situations with Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari and other officials.

With the initiation of the Praja Palana programme in the state from the 28th of this month, the Chief Minister sought details from officials regarding the gram sabhas conducted, application details, the procedure for accepting public governance applications, and the public response. During the review, the Chief Minister recommended ensuring an adequate supply of applications without any shortages.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister directed applicants to proceed without facing any difficulties, urging District Collectors to take stringent action against those involved in the unauthorized sale of applications. Public representatives have been urged to actively participate in the programme, and measures will be taken to ensure that citizens do not encounter any difficulties.The Chief Minister also directed the officials to ensure the supply of drinking water, tents for shade, and other necessary arrangements for applicants at the Praja Palana camps.
