Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) Managing Director NVS Reddy announced that metro train services would operate until 12:15 midnight on Sunday, December 31. The final metro train is scheduled to depart at 12:15 pm and reach its destinations by 1 pm.
He emphasized the implementation of special security measures at the stations. Enhanced surveillance will be in place, with both metro staff and police monitoring activities within metro trains and stations. Passengers have been strongly advised to act responsibly during the celebrations.Furthermore, NVS Reddy issued a stern warning, stating that strict action would be taken against individuals found entering the metro stations while intoxicated or engaging in abusive behaviour. The management encourages everyone to enjoy the New Year festivities responsibly and wishes all passengers a safe and joyous celebration, he said. (INN)
