NEP 2020 Orientation & Sensitization programme concludes at MANUU

Hyderabad: An NEP 2020 Reorientation and Sensitization programme organized by The Malaviya Mission Teachers Training Centre (MMTTC) at Maulana Azad National Urdu University successfully concluded yesterday. The Eight-days programme was commenced on 2nd January 2024.

About 199 participants from across India attended the programme. The aims of the programme were to familiarize the faculty members about the NEP 2020 and also to train and impart them holistic education, and make them aware of the ideals on India-centric ethics and human values.

The programme covered themes related to holistic and multidisciplinary education, Indian knowledge systems, academic leadership governance and management, higher education and society, research and development, skill development, student diversity and inclusive education and the use of information and communication technology.

Prof. Saneem Fatima, Director, MMTTC in her valedictory address said that ‘it is important that what the participants have gathered in the training is disseminated to as many students as possible’. As per UGC norms, the programme is compulsory for all faculty members engaged in the profession of teaching in higher education institutions (HEIs) across the country. The UGC-MMTTC will organize the program twice every month till March 2024.
