Haj Committee announces advance payment and medical certificate guidelines

Hyderabad: Telangana State Haj Committee Executive Officer Shaik Liyaqath Hussain has issued an important notice regarding the upcoming Haj pilgrimage. In accordance with Circular No. 6 and 7 from the Haj Committee of India, participants are advised to adhere to the specified guidelines.

As part of the notification, an advance payment of Rs.81,800/- is required by February 9, 2024. This payment can be conveniently made online through the official website www.hajcommittee.gov.in, or through the Haj Committee Challan at the State Bank of India or Union Bank of India. Challan forms are available on the website, and payments can also be made at the local State Bank of India office opposite ENT hospital, Koti, at counter No. 29. Account holders in State Bank of India have the option to transfer the amount through an account payee cheque favouring the Haj Committee of India, with the bank reference on the check leaf.

Additionally, applicants must download the medical and fitness certificate from the Haj Committee website, duly fill it out, and have it endorsed by any government doctor (Allopathic). The completed certificate should then be submitted to the Telangana State Haj Committee office located in Nampally, Hyderabad.

Haj pilgrims are required to submit the following documents: Original Passport, Passport size Photos with a White Background, Payment Receipt, Medical Fitness Certificate, and the Haj Application Form.

The pilgrims are urged to download the necessary forms: 1. Bank Challan, 2. Medical Fitness Certificate, and 3. Complete the Haj Application Form for each participant. Medical fitness certificates must be attested by a government doctor (Allopathic) only.
