Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy launched the presentation of “Niluvettu Bangaram” (offering of Jaggery equal to person weight) to the deities of Samakka- Sarakka during the Jatara in Medaram. The Chief Minister started the programme online at Assembly Committee Hall today (Friday).
Ministers Konda Surekha, Ponnam Prabhakar, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Damodara Raja Narasimha, MLAs, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Commissioner of Revenue Department Anil Kumar and other officials were present.
The CM offered “Niluvettu Bangaram” in the name of his grandson Riyansh. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also presented in the name of his granddaughter.
The State government is providing the facility of the offering of “Niluvettu Bangaram” to the Deities to those who could not attend the Jatara physically. (INN)
