Hyderabad: The dates of various entrance exams have been modified in light of the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state.
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education has rescheduled the dates for TS EAPCET-2024 and TS ICET-2024 to avoid the TS EAPCET-2024 on the day before the polling and the TS ICET-2024 exam on the day of the counting date.
As per the revised schedule, TS EAPCET-2024, which was earlier scheduled from May 9 to May 12, will now be held from May 7 to May 11. The Agriculture and pharma exams will now take place on May 7 and 8, while Engineering exams are scheduled for May 9, 10, and 11.Similarly, the ICET-2024, originally scheduled for June 4 and 5, has also undergone slight modifications. Given that the results of the Lok Sabha elections are expected to be announced on June 4, the ICET exam has been rescheduled to June 5 and 6 to avoid any conflicts or inconveniences for candidates.
