DGP unveils “Horn not OK Zone” at DGP office

Hyderabad: Director General of Police Anurag Sharma unveiled “Horn not OK Zone” at DGP office on Saturday.

The DGP said Young Indians today have launched a campaign for establishing “Horn not OK Zones” and he was happy that the DGP’s office premises is one of the first one to create a

‘Horn not OK Zone’ because now noise pollution is as important as any other kind of pollution in the world, especially in India where we are habituated to honk at every possible opportunity.

“I hope this will pickup and will help in establishing peace and tranquility especially in areas of schools, hospitals and offices,” he said.

On this occasion, DIG L&O Kalpana Naik and Initiative chair ‘ HNOP ’ Heena Desai were present. (INN)
