Hyderabad: The BJP on Friday demanded the TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao to celebrate the Liberation Day officially on September 17.
Reminding that the TRS chief had demanded the earlier governments to celebrate Telangana liberation day officially, BJP leader Indrasena Reddy questioned why the Chief Minister as silent now when his party is ruling the Telangana state.
Addressing a press conference here on Firday, the BJP leader said that the TRS should implement their own demand. KCR is pursuing opportunistic politics for political mileage, the BJP leader accused.
He demanded the government to officially celebrate the Liberation Day and also include the name of all those who fought against the Nizam rule. (INN)
