Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday directed the Telangana State Assembly Speaker to dispose off petitions seeking disqualification of TD MLAs who defected to the ruling TRS within 90 days.
Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao passed the interim order on a petition filed by TD MLA A. Revanth Reddy, challenging the Speaker’s action in merging TD with the ruling TRS party without acting on the petitions seeking disqualification defected MLAs.
TS Speaker Madhusudhanachary had merged a group of 12 rebel MLAs of TD with the TRS. (INN)
