VHR writes to Guv: Seeks details of BCs in TS

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao on Saturday wrote to Governor ESL Narasimhan and the BC Commission demanding that the State Government make public the details of the Backward Communities collected during the Integrated Household Survey by the State Government.

VHR asked as to why the State Government kept IHS findings secret and demanded it to place entire in public domain. In his letter, he alleged that the 27% quota granted by the Centre to the BCs was not being implemented.

He said that the BCs were not getting their due share.

Slamming the TRS Government for its decision to demolish the existing Secretariat building and construct a new one, VHR alleged that the State Government was wasting public money for unnecessary works.

He demanded that the State Government release a white paper on the action plan to be adopted with regard to the development of the newly formed districts.

The Congress leader slammed the state government saying that it was not utilizing the Central funds properly. The TRS government has mismanaged the state finances and has pushed the State into debt trap, he remarked. (INN)
