Hyderabad: BJP floor leader in the Telangana Legislative Assembly G. Kishan Reddy on Tuesday met DGP Anurag Sharma and appealed him to resolve the long pending issues faced by Home Guards in the state.
Kishan Reddy submitted a memorandum to the DGP at his office stating that the services of the Home Guards be regularized and they be promoted as police constables.
He also demanded the DGP to ensure that the Home Guards be extended the benefits like minimum wages, health, ESI and other benefits.
He urged the DGP to take up the issue with the state government at the earliest and ensure speedy solution to the same. (INN)
