AP, TS are at the bottom of the chart in people’s welfare: CPM

Nagarkurnool: CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram said that the state governments of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were providing numerous incentives like land and electricity and other incentives and gained top position in ease of doing businesss, even as they neglected the welfare of the common man.

Speaking to media persons during his Mahajana padayatra which is in the district, the CPM leader said that the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu state focused on industrialists but never focused to uplift the farmers and the poor.

He said that both the state stood at the bottom of the list of states when it comes to people’s welfare.

The CPM leader slammed the state governments saying that both the ruling parties failed to fulfill the poll promises made during election campaign.

He said that it was strange that every section of the society was suffering due to wrong policies of the state government, but the state governments were boasting of their pro-industry initiatives.

He said that the issues of farmers, students and youth should be addressed at the earliest and warned of people’s wrath in the next elections if the ruling parties failed to fulfill their poll promises. (INN)
