Hyderabad: Peddapalli MP and TRS leader Balka Suman on Friday slammed the Congress saying that it had no moral right to talk about corruption since Congress leaders themselves were involved in numerous irregularities and corrupt practices.
Speaking to media at the TRSLP office here, the TRS MP strongly refuted the charges of Congress leader Madhu Goud Yashki that the TRS government was indulging in massive corruption in the various welfare schemes.
A party which is known for corruption throughout the country is now talking high on corruption and morals and this is just laughable, the TRS leader said.
Congress leaders have a history of sending bureaucrats to jail for their corrupt practices. Congress is synonym for corruption, he remarked.
The TRS leader said that the state was witnessing unprecedented development in all sectors. He said that the state government was making all efforts to help farmers prosper in the state.
He wondered as to why Telangana JAC chief Prof Kodandaram was opposing construction of irrigation projects and reorganization of districts.
He alleged that the actions of TJAC chief were helping the Congress who is creating hurdles in the development of the state. (INN)
