CPM hits out at KCR

Vikarabad: CPM leader Tammeneni Veerabhadram on Monday said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had no moral right to criticize communist leaders who fought for the people’s welfare for years.

Speaking at a party meeting in Vikarabad as part of his Mahajana Padayatra, the CPM leader said that the TRS chief was criticizing the CPM leaders for their struggle for against the government’s anti-poor policies.

He said that his party had fought against the Nizam rule and had distributed 10 lakh acres of land to the landless poor.

Former minister G Prasad Kumar, Telugu Yuvata chief Veerendra Goud, Prof Haragopal and others were present.

He said that the TRS party which failed to fulfill even a single poll promise is attacking the Opposition, for questioning the government’s failure.

He slammed the government saying that it left the students in lurch by not paying their fee reimbursement dues and also farmers by not waiving their farm loans.

He said that his party would intensify the stir against the government if it failed to fulfill the poll promises.

Speaking on the occasion former minister Prasad Kumar said that the Centre’s move to demonetize the currency notes has hit the poor and the middle class very badly. (INN)
