TS Govt strengthening school education on a massive scale: Dy CM

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Friday said that the State Government would recruit teaching posts in all residential and model schools across the state.

He said that the state government was committed to develop the education sector in the state on the corporate level private schools.

Speaking at a meeting of the model schools principals at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium here, Srihari said that there was an immediate need to develop human resources in the state by imparting better education and health services.

He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao wants to ensure that the youth from state participate in the national and international level completion and excel.

He said that that the TRS government has been making continues efforts to ensure that the school education is strengthened.

He said that the government has been strengthening residential type schooling by providing all the required infrastructure.

He said that the state would soon see the results of the efforts put in strengthening education sector. He said that efforts were on to provide furniture and other infrastructure at all schools in the state.

The Deputy CM said that junior colleges would be started in residential educational institutions as part of government’s efforts to provide free KG to PG education.

He said that the Telangana State Public Service Commission would soon release notification to recruit teachers for residential schools.

Every residential and model school would have teachers by the commencement of new academic year, he said.

The minister said that the government would establish a permanent teahers training centre at Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan office at Nampally to train teachers working in state schools.

Srihari said that the government is yet to take a final decision on scrapping EACMCET for engineering stream and asked the students community not to panic and assured that no injustice would be done to them. (INN)
