People should be informed about government’s programmes: KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday said that there was a need to inform people on aims, objectives and the background of several programmes launched by the government.

The Chief Minister made these observations when noted analyst and CPRO to CM Jwala Narasimha Rao presented him with a copy of “Idee Suparipalana” at his Chambers in the Legislative Assembly.

The Chief Minister has congratulated Narasimha Rao and said that the articles in the book have reflected how in the T State governance has turned into great governance.

The book “Idee Suparipalana” written by Narasimha Rao has the compilation of articles that the writer wrote on the State government’s rule ever since the State of Telangana was formed in 2014.

This book has the analytical articles written by Narasimha Rao from June 2014 to November 2016 in various publications and in his blogs.

Former Chairman Press Academy and veteran journalist Potturi Venkateswara Rao wrote an introduction to the book “Swapna Saakaram” (Dream realised) and Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Chairman Prof Ghanta Chakrapani wrote an analysis “Manogatham”.

Prof Maramraju Satyanarayana Rao, senior Journalist Bhandaru Srinivasa Rao wrote the foreword, while senior journalist, writer and publisher of the book, Juluri Gowri Shankar edited the compilation. (INN)
