TRS MPs meet JP Nadda on AIIMS

Hyderabad: A delegation of TRS MPs led by Vinod Kumar on Friday met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and appealed him to fulfill the assurances made in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

Speaking to media persons later, Vinod Kumar said that they had appealed the Union Minister to initiate steps to set up All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Telangana as promised in the Bifurcation Act.

He said that the Institute would be beneficial to the neigbouring state of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh also in providing medical facility to the backward regions of these states.

The TRS MP said that the Union Minister had assured to sanction funds for establishing AIIMS in Telangana. TRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy also accompanied Vinod Kumar. (INN)
