I’AM Finale: Student Singers to Compete for Top Prizes

Twenty six contestants shortlisted from over 1400 budding student singers will compete for top prizes in I’AM Signing Competition tomorrow at Hotel Pearl Regency.

A top 6 participants, which includes 3 girls and 3 boys, will be declared in the finale of the state-level singing competition organized by Hyderabad-based Tajalli Productions.

“It was fascinating to hear young and budding talent. Shortlisting just 26 out of more than 1400 recordings that we received was a herculean task,” said the singing competition lead Mansoor Kaleem.

“We are looking forward to an exciting finale competition among top student singers coming from across Telangana,” he added.

Panelists who will finalize top six singers include Mohd. Rafi Habib from Mumbai and Khan Athar from Hyderabad. They will judge singers on following parameters: pronunciation, melody, breath control with variations, and presentation style.

Started in August 2015, Tajalli Productions attempts to present a logical point of view on various social and contemporary issues. In addition, it identifies and nurtures budding talents.
