Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Monday prepared a draft of Academic Calendar 2017-18 for Upper-Primary, Primary and High Schools in the State.
As per the draft, the academic year 2017-18 will be from March 21, 2017 to April 23, 2018. The summer vacations will be from 24th April to 11th June. The draft calendar will be sent to teachers’ organisations for suggestions and approval.
The State Government has also suggested change in school timings. For High Schools, classes will commence from 9.30 AM while it will be 9 AM for Upper-Primary and Primary classes.
The pre-final exams for 10th class students are likely to be held either from 16th to 28th February or from 21st February to 6th March 2018. (INN)
