Hyderabad: TRS MP B. Narasaiah Goud has strongly condemned Congress leader and MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy for his allegation that TRS Government was not working for the welfare of Backward Classes.
Addressing a press conference at TRS Bhavan on Sunday, Goud said that the TRS Government has introduced several schemes for the welfare of BCs.
He said that the State Government has procured and distributed 40 crore fish among fishermen community which would fetch them a revenue of Rs. 4,000 crore. Similarly, sheep and goats were being distributed among 3-4 shepherds, he said.
The TRS MP alleged that it was the previous Congress regime which neglected the welfare of BCs. He demanded that Komatireddy tender an apology for his comments. (INN)
