Hyderabad: AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh has downplayed the infighting going on between top leaders of Telangana Congress.
When asked for reaction on the tussle between TPCC President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy, Digvijay Singh said that there might be some issues between them, but there were no major difference among top leaders.
He said he would meet and discuss with everyone and would sort out all all the issues.
Digvijay Singh, who came to Hyderabad on Sunday on a two-day visit, said that the TRS Government was not doing well in Telangana State.
He alleged that only Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s family was busy making money in the State. For the same reason,
he said that the Congress party has launched Jana Avedana Sammelan, a 10-day long protest against the demonitisation and non-fulfillment of promises by BJP Government at the Centre and TRS Government in the State.
He also claimed that the Congress party was certainly winning four of out of five Assembly elections. “He said Congress will form government in Goa, Manipur and Punjab State,
while the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance in Uttar Pradesh will return to power. We are in contest in Uttarakhand and hopefully we will win there,” he said. (INN)
