TSLPRB chief denies irregularities in constables’ recruitment

Hyderabad: Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) Chairman Purna Chandra Rao has claimed that the recent recruitment of police constables was done in a totally transparent manner and there were no irregularities.

The TSLPRB chief was reacting to the allegations leveled a group of more than 100 candidates who staged a protest before the State Police Headquarters at Lakdi-ka-pul on Monday.

The protestors alleged that instead of promised 33%, only 10% posts were reserved for women candidates. Some candidates alleged that they those who secured less marks got the job while those who scored high marks were rejected.

Addressing a press conference later, the TSLPRB Chairman denied all the allegations. He said that the details of cut-off marks and other details would be placed on TSLPRB website soon. (INN)
