Nearly 200 police personnel were deployed at Indira Park to foil the TJAC’s rally.

TJAC Chairman Prof. M. Kodandaram was taken into preventive custody in the early hours of Wednesday. At about 4 AM on Wednesday, police personnel raided the residence of Kodandaram at Tarnaka and arrested him by breaking open his residence’s main door.

Nearly 30 other TJAC leaders were also arrested along with Kondandaram. While Kodandaram was kept at Kamatipura Police Station, others were shifted to Kanchanbagh and other police stations.
