Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Sunday declared the results of intermediate first and second years.
Speaking to media persons after releasing the results at the office of Board of Intermediate Education, the Deputy CM informed that the pass percentage for inter first year was 57% and it was 66.4% for intermediate second year. A total of 976,160 had appeared for the intermediate exams held during March this year.
Of 475,874 candidates of intermediate first year, as many as 270,738 have passed the exams. Similarly, of 414,213 second year students, 275,273 have cleared the exams. Like previous years, girls have outperformed boys in both inter first and second years.
The Deputy CM informed that the Advanced Supplementary exams would be held from May 15 and the last date for applying for the same would be April 22. (INN)
